Flowers too close?

2x2growing

I’ve cut down my plant as a whole for harvest. My branches grew fairly close to each other and I’m wondering if anyone has ever gotten mold from having buds too close to eachother in the drying phase. Thank you.

Certainly. It is best to cut the branches off and dry them individually. Coat hangers make wonderful "tools" for hanging the branches on. Your plant will dry faster and more evenly if you leave the leaves on and dry trim. (it is all about surface area, plus water evaporating through the buds only, can have a negative impact on both terpenes and cannabinoids) Dry in darkness too, THC will degrade rapidly after harvest if exposed to direct light. Hope this helps,........ Organoman.

Yes. It is very easy for it to mold. If it does the whole batch needs tossed. Most mold is toxic that will grow on it. Break down into smaller sections. Have moving air and fresh air and about 60 to 70 degree f. Keep in dark as well. Some line walls with cardboard or just use a big cardboard box for drying. Good luck hope that helps
