Bullmarkanswered grow question 3 years ago Could be a couple of issues…..of course your watering could be the cause. At that stage you wanna make sure you’re not over watering. Allow the medium to dry out between waterings so your roots can have ample oxygen. Your soil looks nice and rich but I don’t see much perlite/vermiculite.
This can lead to clumping and wet/dry pockets.
Even with ready-to-go mixes you should always add a fair amount of perlite/vermiculite to make sure your drainage is sufficient.
Your watering may be just fine but the lack of drainage could be culprit.
Another reason for the leaf edges turning up could be the heat. Check your temps and refer to a VPD chart. This basically will give you an optimal range of temp and humidity ratios.
It may simply be too hot for them right now. This could be the room temp or they may be too close to your light.
The leaf curls up to make its surface area smaller.
It’s either the heat/light issue or poor drainage and/or too much water.
