Deficiency in 2nd week of flower

Nickeluring
Nickeluringstarted grow question 3 years ago
Hi, my plants show deficiencies in the second week of flowering. Looking at leaf deficiency charts, it looks to me like the plants have an issue with a Zinc deficiency. I'm using chelated nutrients, and I consequently don't have any pH issues. Anyone have any idea what's wrong?

If it's only happening to top canopy leaves, I think it's light burn. Raise your lamp or lower the number of hours per day of light. You need to get your Daily Light Integral down.

Grow Mates: I’m looking at the ends and seeing that they are not truly burnt. Burnt is brown. This is tan…and not on all the leaves also. Nutrient burn will torch your leaves brown with a quickness from new to old pending how bad. I agree with a flush and check your dayum pH man 🤣🤣🤣

Hi there. Your probably over feeding her with nutes, plus your diary says your running in coco but your ph is 7. Now when growing soiless like coco or dwc the recommended ph is between 5.5 and 6.5 with the sweet spot being between 5.8and 6.2. Try running a mild nute solution with ph 6 through so you get plenty of runoff.

hey there Nickeluring, you're right, that would be strange if you had a deficiency. That's because it's actually magnesium lockout. somehow you're giving 5 different micro nutrients plus 3 additives, so it added up and caused a lock out. You need to flush now, unfortunately. You have to cut out quite a lot of nutrients right now for example big bud b52 , rhizotonic, and add them back in according the grow schedule. Hope this helps growmie ! 🚀

Looks more like to many nutrients to me. I think adding the grow nutrients just made it worse. Have you checked the EC of your runoff? A PH of 7 seems on the high end to me, but all of your other grow's look great and have the same PH. I was under the impression coco range was 5.5-6.5 just like hydro and soil was 6.0-7.0
