growing outside for the first time, im 53°N so autos are the way to go imo, I've checked the soil on the site, its nice and dark, filled with worms and other bits of life, does anyome recommend using any slow release ferts?

if accessable regularily, I would recommend using ferts when watering if needed,, mother nature may give whats needed,, that way you can still control amounts etc...

I tend to start my autos inside for 1st 2 or 3 week in small fabric pots. I dig my spots sightly bigger then the pots. Then I put fabric pots in the holes so 3/4 of the pot is in the ground, fill area around the pot with a canna friendy soil. As far as nutrition goes I let rain water do most the work but do manually water once a week with nutes. It's an 4 mile treck each way to mine on foot so I don't visit more then once a week.

I use backcountry blend and it worked great for my outdoor vegging girls...Just sprinkle some around your girls and your good to go..
