i would check for a critter maybe. just instant damage like that is usually a sudden thing rather than feed related

I saw a grower with a similar issue. Turned out his humidity was like 15% and 78°F was like 95°F in those conditions. Don't know if that's your issue or even if that was really his problem, it's purely anecdotal, but something to look at perhaps.

It looks like something was biting on the leaves. It also looks like more than just the top is having issues so its not light burn.
