Burning from feeding too much or too often, or maybe both........
The super green leaves are an indication of nitrogen toxicity.
In soil it is a schedule of plain water/plain water/feed/plain water/plain water/feed........so that the plants are being fed every 10-14 days, which is plenty.
If these are auto plants, half strength nutrients are usually strong enough.
Remember too, it is very easy to fix a slight under feeding, but very, very hard to rescue a burned over fed plant.
Heat is not the issue, unless you let them dry out and never feed if the temps are going to be over 35.
Where I live we get 2-5 days in a row multiple times each summer of 40+ and temps as high as 47 at times and my plants don't get burned or suffer when kept correctly hydrated. Have been doing so/experiencing this for 35+ years too.
