I am about 8 weeks into flower and I been flushing for about 2weeks flowering time is said to be 8-9weeks leave’s still are green and no sign of turning yellow. Would it be okay to harvest or should I wait for the leaves to yellow. Don’t want nutrient taste or black ash

Hi your still a few weeks away. Breeders time are unrealistic, 8 weeks is usually 10 weeks or longer. If you started flushing 2 weeks ago you started 2 weeks to early.

If you been flushing for two weeks I would say they’re fine, not all plants leaves fade some might stay green all the way through that will just be the genetics for that particular strain, that’s why I tend to use organic feeds that way your all good no matter what 🌱

I would go back to feeding them, myself... seed banks will always give you the FASTEST estimate of when the plants will be ready for harvest (they want to sell more seeds!) and they often bear little resemblance to reality! I personally think you have several more weeks to go and would tell you to start flushing when you start noticing the fade - or when the pistils become mostly brown. You can pick up a jeweler's loupe to take a close look at the trichomes at that point - but if you start your flush when you start to see the fade, they'll be ready when your flush is done... Good luck and happy smokes!

High, Do not look at the colour of the leaves or the colour of the pistils. These are all just small indicators about when a plant might or might not be ready. THE ONLY PRECISE WAY TO KNOW IF A PLANT IS READY FOR HARVEST IS TO LOOK AT THE TRICHOMES. When I look at your plant I do think that she still has to flower 1 more week. But again the only precise way is to look at the trichomes. When most of the trichomes turned into a milky white colour and between 10 - 20% turned a brownish amber colour then the cannabis has it full potency. You can use a x60 pocket microscope to look at the trichomes. They are really cheap but can make a big difference. When you do not understand how to identify the different trichomes colours then here is a link from Dutch Passion. They explain it really well with pictures to help you learn how to identify the colours yourself. Flushing is a myth in most cases of how its used, It has one piratical use and that is if you have overfed your plants and need to "flush" the medium with clean water to avoid any long term damage to the roots and medium. Natural fade your speaking off will occur regardless of nutrients in the medium in my experience. I also think your plants have a bit more time before chop. Good Luck!
