Prune bottom 30%?

Thanks all, I messed up and closed the question. So Dutch, I should prune the bottom of the plants? I didn't train because what I read was not to train autos. But I should definitely prune off the bottom 30%, please confirm?

It is not about light reaching or not reaching the bottom leaves. It is about the fact that these buds will never develop into more then popcorn buds while the plant is using a lot of energy to produce them. More energy then the bottom leaves will gain from that small amount of light that they recieve. I would cut at least the lowest 2 nodes also because these leaves are damages already!

Dude I said they are to late to Lst. There is nothing wrong with Lst on autoflower plants. Done early it's fine, hence I said it's to late for them/you. Look at this diary, can you see all them gaps in the plant and all them flower sites exposed. Why would they/you want to loose 30% of your possible yield with a plant like that. If it was bushy, had big fan leaves towering over flower sites that are not going to receive any light then fine strip the bottom 30%. This plant does not need stripping. I agree that removing the lower part of the plant does put more resources into the main buds, I do it when necessary. This situation this person is I does not require it.

And Hashy how do you want to LST a tall plant with her main cola far from the others while it started to flower already??? The main branch is too hard and woodlike already to bend in any shape!!! I see a lot of growers that think that bending the bottom branches away from the plant is LST... this doesn't do and improve shit!!! The reason for using LST is to bend the main branch down so that all the branches will eventually reach the same height and for that recieve the same light intensity from the lamp.

High Hashy, Light works with the inverse square law. This basically means that when you move an object 2 times as far from the lamp the intensity from the light becomes 4 times weaker. These plants are very tall... so the bottom is like 4 times further away from the lamp then the top. So the light is so much weaker at the bottom then at the top. If you do not cut away the bottom 30% you can imagen that the smaller buds at the bottom are using a lot of energy while they will never develop because they simply wont recieve enough (energy) light.

Your plants don't look like they need anything removing. There is plenty of space for light to hit all parts of it. As regards LST on autos, it works really well bending the main over and growing horizontally instead of vertically. You to late in to do any LST now.

Yes prune the lowest 30% Then your plants are only focussing on the big buds on top that gain enough light from the lamp to become big, fat and juicy! Yes you can prune autoflowers! You can even top autoflowers but this doesn't always give bennefit in yield because you can not control how long they should recover.
