Wound healing

Dutchhobby
Dutchhobbystarted grow question 2 years ago
So I broke main stem last week.did some tape around it and gave it support. Just now I looked and it looks like she is healing but I don't like the brownish around the wound.it feels hard but I think she's sensitive for mold now.Can I close her with candle wax?

Candle wax is not a good idea (although you get points for trying!) ... Simple tape and support would be fine and it either works or it doesn't... the sooner you get the break taped up, the better. I usually leave the tape on all the way through harvest if I've broken or badly damaged a stem... so I don't know exactly what the wounds look like when they repair themselves but to me, the brown just looks like natural scarring and she should be just fine.. Good luck!

Hi no dont use wax i cant see that ending to well, I put a plaster around mine when i done it and hoped for the best and it healed fine but I believe you can get a cutting/pruning paste from most garden stores to put on big open wounds of all plants/trees but have a good read up on them, Good luck bro 🌱
