Recycling Soil between grows

Looks like a good start. I would would use an enzyme product such as cannazyme, as those are designed to break down and dissolve old dead roots within a growing medium. I use it while recycling coco, should have a similar effect in coco. There are many brands of enzymatics on the market and really any should work (although some may work better). This will save you from the effort of trying to remove every little dead root clump from the soil lol. Happy growing! 🌱👍
