Green on top soil

Yesterday I added a dehumidifier and c02 bag, I stopped exhausting and keeping humidity under 73 and lowest 68. Today I noticed a bit of green on my soil. I’m thinking of letting them dry out a bit maybe I’m watering too much. What can cause this green to come up on the top soil?

Nothing to worry about mate its just for the moist soil as roots are not big enough to suck it up💪💪

It's algae growing on the perlite. This means you are watering too often as their is too much moisture. Perfect environment for algae . It's not harmful to your plants , it just means your watering too often.

Hydrogen peroxide has been used by farmers for years as a pesticide. Spraying your crop will help kill mould and mildew spores on leaves, remove algae between rows of plants, and can even be used to kill bugs!

Some really good 'advice' there fella mold is normally a issue with to much liquid and not enough ventilation, the green on the soil is not exactly a bad thing, it tells us that we have an 'active' medium that's working although slightly to the wrong side, cut back a little on liquid and let it ride it's course, if it is spreading rapidly then other measures may need to be taken, remember mold needs water/humid conditions and a stagnant air flow, crank everything up and it should see you right, mold is not necessarily a bad thing, it tells you that you have an environment to grow, although that environment might not be optimal for the particular strain your growing, hope this helps 👍

Those little girls my need 2cl of water ( 20 ml) per day in this stage. if the soil in the bag is to wet, let the soil dry until you poke with your knucklles in the soil, and its only humid,,, then the medium is fine for the girls overwatering btings alot of issues Didi you germinate them into arockwool cube=? because that happens if you use rockwool and dig it into soil
