I've only had the internet and what seems most intuitive (to me) to go on. I wanted soil and K.I.S.Stupid. I'm not trying to grow industrial, just quality for myself. Any suggestions are appreciated. Be Safe, All

K.I.S.S principle........my favourite. K.I.S.S. answer = start a flush when there are about 95% brown pistils and harvest about 2 weeks later when there are 98-99% brown pistils. This will put your plant in the "10-30% amber trichomes" zone without having to look too closely and is also when your plant will have peak THC levels. Going by your pictures you are right, another 4 weeks or so still to go. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Nice lil grow! Your plant looks good and I love how you use your defoliated leaves as mulch. The only suggestion I have is to use a smaller square trellis net next time. You'll be able to low stress train a lot easier and open up more bud sites to push towards a dry weight that will get you to your next harvest without having to go into conservation mode. I use 3" squares and it works perfect for me. I hope this helps.

I like soil and kiss method. I use dry amendments in the soil and don't flush at all. just top dress every 3 weeks and PH'd water easy peasy. The brand I use is Gaia Green, you can look through some of my journals to get an idea about it. other brands exist besides Gaia Green its just the one I know. High Zenboy, I wrote that the x60 pocket microscopes are around 10 dollar but when I write with the dollar sign it deletes itself. You can also make pictures from the trichomes through the lens of the microscope and post a question with these pictures to ask if your plants are ready when you are closer to harvest. Then we can help you to harvest the plant at the perfect time! You can start doing that when 50% of the pistils turned brown. Till then keep up the good work! 😋

High Zenboy, I can only give you compliments! Beautiful plant, SCROG net wel placed, the leaves have a beautiful colour that means nutrients well balanced. And defoliation well done! I hope you clean those leaves out off the pot because otherwise it can give problems with rotting and bugs. But your question is when they are ready for harvest... They got at least 5 weeks to go. When more then 50% of the pistils turned brown you can start looking at the trichomes. You need a x60 pocket microscope to do this. They are around and really helpfull for growing marihuana. You can identify pests with it and check the trichomes when to harvest. The trichomes start as clear as glass and turn in their most potent stage cloudy and when degrading turn into an brownish amber colour. When almost all the trichomes are cloudy and about 10% is amber the plant is at full potency for harvest. Just keep doing what you are doing because till now it goes really good!!! Happy Growing! 😋
