Drooping after watering/feeding.

Thx for taking a look! I know the obvious answer is going to be that I'm overwatering. However, it's been 3 days, the topsoil was super-dry and pot felt empty/very light. Sadly, this seems to be a routine when fed, with her perking up again in a day. Diary has details. Thanks!

If its dropping after watering its a sign its getting overwatered, or maybe it got under watered and is taking time to bounce back. One easy way to tell this is that the pressure in the leaf stems will remain flaccid when under watered and ridged when over watered while keeping the same limp looking leaves for both under and over watered. It is a bit dark and could use less Nitrogen but if its already in the mix just avoid adding extra or flush it out. a flush would prob not hurt at this point, might save you from other proglems down the line. The [better grow 20-14-13] is quite high in N and that's causing a lot of your toxicity issues. The Bloom booster at 11-35-15 is also not an ideal ratio. but is better then the first. You will want to look into something aorund 4-8-8 or 5-10-11 or 2-7-7 ... something with smaller N and equal or slightly larger K to P ratio. Can always mix and match some feeds to hit your desired target. Best Of Luck!

12 hours later and she seems back to 'normal'. I updated the diary/pics in case anyone is curious. Seems like the consensus is to give her a flush and provide less N in the future. Will certainly give it a try. Thank you all!

Too much Nitrogen (N) stop giving the Grow nutrients!!! It contains 20% nitrogen and your plant started to flower already she doesn't need Nitrogen (N) from this phase till harvest she needs Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). I recommend to stop giving the grow nutrient and double the blooming nutrient.

Thank you @GrowingGrannie. When I did some math, the Better Gro ferts I'm using compare in strength, when mixed, to Fox Farms (Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom), which seems popular. Maybe I made errors in the math/estimations or maybe it's wrong to want to emulate Fox Farms. Either way, I will definitely consider a flush and toning down the dosage based on your advice! Thank you for taking another look at her!

All I can think of when I look at these photos is that you've got WAY too much nitrogen going on there... along with possibly causing the symptoms you describe, those leaves are much too dark - but I have no clue about your nutes or what NPK they might contain. OH! I just noticed the NPK info on your Better Gro A or something... holy CATFISH! Take that away from her!! You need to give her a good flush - for your 2 gallon pots, that means running 6 gallons of pH'd water through each pot... let them dry out and when they're dry, you can resume your nutes - but ONLY the bloom nutes and ONLY at 1/2 strength (for the first feed). You can increase the dosage of bloom nutes the next time you water (you DO alternate water/feed/water/feed, yes?) but I would stay away from those grow nutes... wow are they STRONG! And whenever you water, make sure you're getting at least 10-20% runoff as that will help clear out built-up nutes and excess salts from the soil... kind of like a mini-flush... Good luck!

@Creepy_Steve, Thank you. What you've said makes a lot of sense. The 20% perlite posted is definitely a hopeful high estimate after amending the medium weeks after planting. It's likely the addition could be just sitting in the middle of the substrate. Initially, it was probably only 5-10% at best. So, to your point, I'm probably suffocating her when watering. Also, I've been keeping all of my water in the tent (~75F, ~24C) as I was weary of cold-shock, even though the house is always at least ~68F - 20C. I'll keep the water out of the tent now. I wonder how I can change my watering habits to help her. Maybe less volume more often? Maybe I could massage the fabric pot a bit to increase access to O2? 🤔

just saw your comment below... i wouldn't put the water in the tent to warm up .. that could be exacerbating it if it is warming up significantly... that would reduce O2 carrying capacity of water as temp rises.. upper 60's is better. in some cold areas water comes out of tap near freezing, this would be okay to warm up a bit, but you still want it no higher than upper 60s if possible.. a little deviation is fine. i've fed in 70s with no problem too, but water carries less o2 when warm and eventualyl it would be low enough o2 to cause droop like what you see.... plus grow microbes faster -good or bad.

Well if oyu know the answer.. jk well you got a 60/40 mix with soil (or soil equiv) and drainage (perlite+vermiculite). So, 50/50 is probably better but this small deviation would not cause major droop unless you ran a ton of water through it and had a ton of runoff... that would drown roots and plant would droop for a while. if you consistently wait for top 1" to dry, then it's not overwatering. doesn't look like much perlite or vermiculite in those pictures compared to the 20% listed for each... i'm gonna stick with needs better drainage properties... your soil probably just holds a bit too much water and it takes 24 hours for that to subside before roots have a better o2 level in substrate.. Possibly overfed a bit too. depends on how much curl is going on after it recovers... if the leaf tips are still clawing it's also overfed. soil is tough.. lots of unknowns as far as what it contains.. some organic stuff doesn't even have a guaranteed analysis lable cause they have no clue how concentrated it is lol. meh, minor details... bwahah

Water/Feed solution kept in tent for at least a few hours for temps. No foliar spray. No training, excessive touching. 🤷‍♂️
