Hey TheCode, the yellowing is because the lack of nitrogen and your leaf curl is due to high heat. If you cannot regulate your heat increase your humidity for the time being. At 86 deg your humidity should be approx. 60% RH at this point in flower and will also help to slightly reduce the heat. Increase your airflow if possible and an exhaust fan if you aren't already using one. Your plant will recover nicely if you tackle this now. Let me know if you need further assistance.

I think u have it right high temps and grow light being to close don't mix right. Also looks to be a bit underwatered. When watered properly the plant can tolerate a little heat. Hope I can help

first i would try to move branch apart more to leave more light penetrate next i would put led 24-26″ (60-66cm) or more then i would add nitrogen & molasses they need it bad then i would trim a bit excess leaf to give more air true that should give the boost they need

I reckon you need to give an extra dose of nitrogen. Are you feeding with anything? I think your plant is crying out for some nutes. Keep the moisture/humidity level high. Spray the leaves. Maybe Buy a humidifier or an evaporative air cooler?

This looks like heat stress to me. In your question you were trying to decide if the light is too close, or if it's head stress... but basically too close to the light = heat stress/burnt plants. I had this problem in my first grow. I had a HUGE 1600W LED light in a 5x5 grow tent and my plants were starting to cook due to heat. My plants can't tolerate much of 30* temp without stress. I have an inline fan pushing cold air into my tent, and the exhaust blows out the hot air. I would recommend you get your temperatures down to 27-28C if possible. A nice cool evening temp of 23-24C during flower stage will help too. Best of luck. Oh, and if it's any consolation, in my first grow where the plants suffered a lot of heat stress... as in, it took me a long time to figure out the problem LOL, my yield still turned out great and the bud was super fun to smoke :)

Hey there my friend, you have two main issues, the first one is the heat. you can see the heat issue is there because the leafs are "taco-ing" that's when they fold up like that and it's a sign of heat stress. Second issue is a Nitrogen deficiency, you can see this from the yellowing of the bottom leafs. It's pretty easy to fix the heat issue by fixing your exhaust (always have exhaust) or adding an evaporative cooler or an A/C and of course more air flow inside the tent. The nitrogen issue is also easy to fix, just buy some flower nutrients and add it to your feed, it should fix the problem within a week or so. Hope this helps ! 🚀

@TheCode hi mate the temps you have listed 30 celcius isn't that bad as long as you have good air flow within the tent. Just a simple oscillating fan can work wonders aswell as running the lights during the cooler hours of the day and lights off during the heat of the day. Next grow get yourself a good exhaust fan with a carbon filter to keep unwanted smells in the tent.

Nice grow! To my eyes it is not an issue with the light being to close, as I have run my own HLG QBs closer than that without issue and it seems like lower leaves are being affected equally to the upper growth. I would want to rule out over/under watering first, or heat stress due to the exhaust fan issue. Hope that helps!
