You just topped it, so i'd wait and see how that plays out...
you can't learn if you do everything all at once.... you'll do some LST at some point, but i'd let your topping cause those axillary buds to branch out first. then temporarily break any apical dominance until it's all leveled out (temporarily tie down anything that grows taller than the rest and starts to take more resources)... or LST each branch out horizontally at roughly the same height (apical dominance is key... same height, same growth rate, give or take, so the lower branches can't be bent out until they are tall enough to match all the others, or it won't grow evenly.)
so this all depends on the space you need to fill.. .you work backward from that to form a plant to fill space. you could top again after a little growth or train the branches out away from the plant and allow the axillary growth from those branches becomes your vertical colas... the most effcient way is best... may take some trial and error and understanding differences of how some grow -- some don't branch out as easily as others.
