Hi, am actually curious what’s causing the swelling of my stems right were they fuse with each other. Tried to Google it but barely see it on any pictures I can find online. Is it bad or good? I assume good as my plants always looked happy. Still would like to know what’s causing

The primary reason is to be strong enough for the leaves and flowers that emerge. The second reason is to transport water and nutrients easier throughout the plant. The thicker the stem and branches the easier the transportation with water and nutrients will be. Cannabis plants are very strong and flexible through a combination of the strong fiber making up the stems and branches, the process of osmosis that keeps cells firm, and the hollow space within stems and branches for flexibility under duress.

It's super good actually that way the plant has already reinforced her joints to support heavy weight. I had a couple plants do that before by training and they all turned out with a heavyyy harvest!! Also silica like rhino skin will also make them swell and training the branches will make them grow even bigger!! Good Job happy growing
