I'm sure if you take care of all that leaf and open up the middle there will be a much better chance for those "long ass skinny ass sticks" to turn into something potentially useful or smokeable in this case. Personally I would do a pick and axe any of those lower twigs as they are stealing valuable energy from the rest of the plant to try and play catch up

prune at flip, then 2 weeks later cut off any weak shit again at bottom while being a bit more conservative on 2nd wave. If you make edibles, hash o extracts of any kind, larfy stuff is often great material to work with for these sorts of end products. Consider lollipopping less if you make such things. Regardless, i'd also thin that canopy out a bit too.. looks like many leaves bunched together in some spots at least - increases risk of infection. Just remove enough that they aren't bunched up together... possibly some LST can help avoid removing some leaves too.. leaves are good.. keep as many as you can.

Hello there friend. You have a few options. 1. Lollipop. This is the removal of all lower branches/nodes from below the canopy. The idea behind this is that the nodes below the canopy don't get enough light to produce good quality buds. Often you will be left with larfy or underdeveloped buds whereas if you lollipop, you can direct the energy your plant would use on lower buds to the tops. 2. Defoliation. Since the lower nodes don't receive much light (and therefore won't be good quality) you can increase the amount of light the lower nodes get by defoliating fan leaves near the top. 3. Lollipop WITH Defoliation. You can do both to really try to maximize the amount of light that gets to the lower canopy as well as maximize the energy your tops get. If you choose this option, I suggest you prune most lower branches UNLESS they are able to reach the top of the plant. Just be careful not to take too many branches and leaves off the plant at one time and definitely do not lollipop/defoliate past week 3 of flower. 4. Do nothing. You can also just be lazy and leave it as it is and still get a good result. 😀 Happy growing friend and good luck with the rest of your grow 💪

I'd would prune them, that or see if they will catch up. Pruning it will only re-direct more energy to the stinger branches.

Or should I cut them off, because they will never reach the light up top, and what's with the small bud sited that are growing on the lower part on the main thick stems? Yeah they grow, but very skinny and light in color. Wouldn't they produce popcorn buds?
