No smell before harvesting the plants

Some plants will be harvested tomorrow. I remarked that the smell is not as strong as a few weeks ago. I smelled them at the beginning of the run, so heat was not at the maximal point. What could it be: heat? fertilization (plants ready to harvest are not yellow but nice green)?

when you cut into them they will amp up the stink for sure... some plants ae stinkier than othes. This is 90% dna and 10% environment. you can't change potency o flavo too much if already doing most things consistently well. A plant doesn't have to fade at end... Senescence is usually unavoidable to some extent, but a huge fade is a thing of myths and misguided conjecture. While i wouldn't suggest feeding to toxicity, feeding up until near the ned is never going to cause a problem. Think about a plant outside in rich soil.. supposedly outdoors tastes better, to some, and do they transplant into a field with zeo to no mineral concentration the last 2 weeks? or flood the hell out of the eath around them to leech nutes? no, of course not, because that would be absurd. if not much senescence has taken place, could be genetic variety or maybe the plant could have ripened a bit longer..

I've had that happen - the worst was when, JUST before harvest, the entire grow started to smell of grass! This, however, is apparently associated with the chlorophyll leaving the plant and was nothing to worry about.... and you shouldn't be worried, either... the smell DOES come back after proper drying and curing... Fear not...

You're probably just used to the smell now! :) Don't worry, just harvest as normal and you'll smell it when you're trimming.
