Dont worry about cutting the fan leaves off, your almost at then end of flowering so it will help with the buds being of out the shade to get more light. she looks ready in about 2 weeks - 14 days give or take. remember not all strains will go 80% - 90% amber pistols, some stay 50% white and amber. you need to get a microscope so you can see the tichomes on the buds, milky white is what you want.

The plant will stop producing fan leaves in flowering. So you have to be very selective if you remove them late flowering. The flower looks like it is almost done. A jeweler's loupe is inexpensive, and a good tool for inspection of trichromes on buds not leaves. A white cloudy mix with a 10 to 30 percent amber tips is ideal for Harvest. It looks anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks left. I think you are more at the 3 week spot based on the pistils and just look it has. It is hard to say for sure without being able to inspect it under magnification. Enjoy

And just to add to what stork has said, as the pistol hairs (white hair looking bits) turn darker and receed back into the buds the buds should swell out a little, that's when you should be checking the trichomes (tiny little thc balls all over buds and smaller leaves) easiest/cheapest way for this is a 100x magnifying jewelers loupe (couple of £) hope that helps you out a bit 👍

s early now when 50-70% of white hair turns red it will be almost ready then you will need to use a microscope to check the trichomes need to aim for white/milky ones or 10% amber/gold Btw you can start with flushing and do not cut any more leaves 😎
