I noticed that today, Tuesday, the second day of the 4th week of flower; that two bud colas have begun to turn amber. Is this ok or some issue? Nothing else on plant turned and those 2 sites seem to be overly ripe if the rest started nothing else is noticable. Only 2 sites pic'd

if you watch entire time you will see amber early on... but it clearly is not ripe. looks like soem wind burn on pistils.. or possibly pollinated. if oyu don't see any nanners or sacs it's more likely wind-related. ah, when you say amber are you referring to the pistils / hair-like projections? usually 'amber' is reserved for describing trichomes. those are ripening at all times throughout grow, so you can see amber triches earlly if looking early.

The pistils are getting brown, not the trichs... you've got quite a while left with these ladies - but they're looking good! Good luick!

This appears to be from physical damage. Being touched too much or by something will do this. PS - Also recommend just referencing the actual day of flower going forward.. week 4 day 2 could mean a couple things. Couple be 4 full weeks and two days (30 days) or could mean you’re starting the 4th week, so 3 full weeks and 2 days.. (23 days). It’s confusing. That’s why most just say the days of flower since flip

There are multiple reasons why pistils will turn brown early. The first reason is because those buds are pollinated. Check all your plants and buds for male flowers! The second reason is the heat from the lamp. Check if the lamp could be too close to the plant and for that reason too hot. To test this just place your hand on the same distance from the lamp as the plants are and when you do not feel unpleasant warm then the plants are fine too and this is not the problem. The third reason is excessive physical handling of the flower. This will cause the pistils to get damaged and turn brown prematurely. The fourth and last reason is that they became wet. Same problem as stated above with the third reason, the pistils get damaged and turn brown prematurely.
