Light burn?

LetsGrowSome
LetsGrowSomestarted grow question a year ago
My girls were doing great growing fast until they hit light burn. Growth was immediately stunted for days. I think I have my light problem solved for now, but how long should it be before growth ramps up again? Anything else I should do?
Solved
Week 3
Leaves. Edges burnt

Suche "Lampe + ppfd map". 150 - 300 ppfd -> Keimling 400 - 600 ppfd -> Veg 600 - 1000 ppfd -> Blüte

Ok great that the plants show new signs if healthy growth! That is different for every phase: Cuttings/young plants 5k - 10k Growing 15k - 50k Flowering50k - 75k You've got a very strong lamp! So good that you are measuring the lux to prevent lightburning during future grows. Enjoy your grow!

In diesem Stadium würde ich die Lampe so einstellen, dass die Pflanze ca. 150 ppfd abbekommt. Passente Tabellen müsste der Hersteller bereitstellen. Google das am besten.

I get the starting over point, however I figure I'm going to keep going. I have been adding vegigrow fertilizer via liquid using half amount called for on every other watering for about a week now. Water about 8 oz every other day. Was just trying to break them into taking fertilizer before I noticed they were stunted. Also added earthworm castings. From yesterday to today, I have noticed new leaves forming on all of them but 1. I am a foot above the recommended height for seedlings according to the manual now for 2 days now. May have it too high now though? Lux meter says 5-6k. I've read 5-7 is what you want for seedlings.

I told you before Steve... Stop being a huge dik! 😋 Haha but seriously bro look at the size of these plants. When placing new seeds they will catch up within 1-2 weeks from these poor damaged plants. Yeah maby a tip for the next time LetsGrowSome. When I want to grow 9 plants inside a tent. I start with like 15 seeds in small cups and only keep and transplant the best 9 plants. Seeds are very cheap compare to the time lost when problems occur. Never spend time waiting for slow and retarted plants. And never listen to Steve he is just a huge dik! 😘

the plants will recover within days and no seed could sprout and grow that large in teh meantime. i disagree very much with the idea oyu should start over.. and i'm a fan of throwing shit plants out , fwiw.

you may have also had light too close, but those plants need fertilizer, too. resulting node spacing is your guide for the light. they will want increasingly more light over next week or two -- after you get them back on track and growing well. when those cotyledons pale, usually a good time to start fertilizing.. start light and ramp up, if in soil. with soilless sould be fertilizing from 2nd irrigation on every time with 10% runoff. if doing it right, should not be too much for a young plant in soilless.. .soil is different. you wait before you supplement soil with fertilizer and slowly ramp up as needed

I would learn from my mistake and start over again. You can also wait for the plants to recover and I have done this multiple times in the past. But when the plants are this young I would not waste time on recovering periods when fresh new seeds will reach this size in a week.
