Harvesting in 2 runs?

im considering harvesting in 2 runs… since im growing outdoors and i see most of the main colas are ready or almost ready but most of the side branches has not gotten enough light, so removing the main colas to get other parts of plants more light, but how do i go about it?

I've done this before and the benefits are negligible at best, i would just let the whole plant finish on it's own.If you only have a couple more weeks left just let them ride it out and harvest at one time.I wouldn't recommend 2 runs to dry unless you lack space to do them all at once.

so i just cut down the main stem from where i think is good and let rest stand? the plant will not die? or get sick from the cutting of the most of the main stem? never done it in 2 runs before som im at your guys mercy ;)

Once again I must ask, is it ready for harvest?Pistols are anywhere from 60-80% orange depending on the cola, and the trichomes are mixed, I see some clear, I see milky and I see amber.We're mid week 8 of flower as well. If it's close enough should I ice the pot and start my 2 days of darkness now?

Watering and darkness before harvestI've been giving them just water for 2 weeks but I only let them get about 10% runoff. I want to put them in 48hrs darkness but not if they've just been watered. Looking for opinions: flush to 80% runoff now and harvest on Wed or leave them in darkness and cut them down on Wed?

Pump Airlock caused a dry up!!! Ideas needed for drying 1 plant on its own!!!Looks like this one needs cut down. Pump airlocked and now this one has caught its death!!! WW harvest tips... 10 days flushing so far, 3 more days after removing leaves, and 2 days darkness after?Hey GD peeps, it's me again. :) Looking for some advice on this little lady for her harvest - 10 days of flushing so far. 1) Should I trim all fan leaves and leave her for 3 more days, 2) 2 days of darkness after the last three days of flushing? Is it time to harvest yet or should I wait a bit longer?At the moment I'm seeing 89% cloudy, 10% red and 1% clear trichomes. It is not very clear from the photos but from what I'm seeing through the magnifying lens this is how it seems. There is significant yellowing but also many white pistils.
