Hi buddy, Discovering bud rot close to harvest can be disheartening, but it's crucial to take immediate action to prevent further spread. - Assessment: Carefully inspect the affected colas to determine the extent of the bud rot. If the rot is localized and hasn't spread extensively, you might salvage the unaffected parts. - Trimming: Gently trim away the affected parts of the buds, making sure to remove all visible signs of mold and rot. Dispose of the trimmed parts away from your garden to prevent spore spread. - Harvest Timing: If the unaffected parts of the buds still have a good amount of trichome development and are near maturity, you can proceed with the harvest. - Drying Conditions: Ensure optimal drying conditions with good airflow and humidity control. Mold thrives in high humidity, so maintaining around 45-55% humidity during drying is crucial. - Curing Carefully: During the curing process, continue to inspect your buds for any signs of mold. Open the jars daily to allow moisture to escape. If you notice any mold during curing, remove the affected buds promptly. - Monitor for Reappearance: Even after trimming and harvesting, closely monitor your stored buds for any signs of mold reappearing. Catching it early can prevent further losses. - Quality Consideration: Depending on the extent of the bud rot and how much you had to trim, the overall quality and potency of the remaining buds might be affected. Evaluate the salvaged buds before deciding on their use. - Bin the Rot: Any parts with bud rot should be discarded. It's not safe to consume moldy cannabis, as it can have health risks. - Prevention: For future grows, focus on prevention measures, such as maintaining proper air circulation, humidity control, and avoiding excess moisture during the flowering stage. In summary, if the unaffected parts of the buds are still valuable and close to maturity, you might salvage them by trimming away the affected areas. Pay close attention during drying and curing to prevent mold from reoccurring. Always prioritize safety and quality when deciding whether to salvage or discard mold-affected buds

cut out the mold after spraying it with some hydrogen peroxide and harvest. it can pop back up in cure to monitor it very carefully. Look into bud washing with a peroxide rince to help kill off any rouge spores.... mold is 1000% everywhere but limiting its environment is how you prevent its growth. Good Luck!
