Its probably because you gave calmag from the beginning. Had an extreme case of this happening to me on a grow. The leaves were all yellow by the end. It's because excess calmag causes the roots to stop absorbing nutrients. If I were you I would try to flush the calmag out with excess plain water but remember to start adding a little calmag from then on because a flush depletes the soil of all micronutrients.
