Overwatering?

Introvertalent
Introvertalentstarted grow question a year ago
Why shes looks so sad? This is the end of week 4. The pot is not the best from the store, so I had to drill some hole on it, but maybe still hold the water inside? I watered 2 days ago, but soil still wet. I don't know. Maybe someone can prove it's looks like overwatering

overwatering -- frequency or volume. the latter is easy to avoid.. the first is too... simply wait for top 1" to dry before re-irrigating. done. if oyu have symptoms from that behaviour, it is due to the drainage quality of your substrate. improve it with more perlite or similar. in a high water-capacity soil, you want 50/50 with the soil-to-drainage amendment of choice. in coco, which holds less water than typical soil, you only need 30% drainage amendement (total, including what may come in any packaged soil) Depending on how your habits deviated from best practice irrigation, the droopiness may or may not be from that. regardless of that, you have a nitrogen deficiency. i don't see a smorgasborg of symptoms, so i doubt your issues are from overwatering. if droopy for a couple hours after an irrigation, that's due to the drainage quality of your soil. beside N, if feeding too high elsewhre, that could be causing the clawing leaves too.. so eliminate possibilities and go with best guess.

In your diary it says your pot is 12l. If it is it's not majorly small, not for five week old and 12". Check you have enough holes in the bottom. About 10mm diameter and at least 6 better with 12+. Spaced out evenly. This addresses drainage. If in soil water when pot is obviously dry. Remember the very dry weight of the pot and the just watered weight for future. This should address overwatering. She is N deficient so adding either more base and or some calmag (most have some N in) Re: lights too close. The app is a good way as said. Observe leaves just before lights off and if they droop it could be they have had enough. If they are praying they may take more. Also look at the leaf stalks. If the top side is purple but the underside is green it could be too much. As always your plant will let you know if ok or not
