some of the the lowest growth shoots started to stretch outwards (some stayed short).ideally I would prefer one nice long bud.should I remove them? (maybe 2 or 3 in total)or better to wait until 21 days flowering. probably should not defoliate for another week right? thanks!

a lot of that depends on the intended size of the plant etc etc.. your familiarity with your enviornment as far as how deep you get good weed into canopy.. outdoors, i would not trim much off. unlike indoor, the lower buds can easily be swimmign in 2000 umol/s of PAR. It's not teh same context as indoors where just 12-24" into canopy can be an extremely reduced umol/s intensity of PAR. (Photosynthetically active radiation = PAR - lol or close enough, it's off the top of my head) So, for an outdoor plant, trainign and spreading it out is the best way to go. when budsites form, if you see sparse amounts of pistils on some lower growth tips, you can change your mind at that time... but these will only be the heavily shielded areas of plant. leaves power growth and buds... only remove what you must and have a good reason to do so. same with growth tips.. outside most will be useful.

I'm focused on maximizing the size of my cannabis buds while minimizing popcorn buds. To achieve this, I create a lollipop shape by removing everything beneath 4-5 nodes. 🍭😎

when defoliating and pruning, I guess I should lollipop the plant? by that I mean, removing the growth shoots I dont want and all the leaves below? I figured I will leave leaves only at nodes where the buds will grow. please correct me/advise me if im wrong! much love

Puedes podar ahora, es el momento justo. Los brotes y hojas de abajo Puedes sacarlos para promover el desarrollo de las flores que se sitúan en las puntas principales. Si deseas defoliar o podar hazlo ahora dentro de 7 días será tarde. Buena suerte

The more grow points you eliminate the more the plant will focus its growth making the remaining colas denser. There is a limit, and it will start to greatly reduce yield. Using the same concept of lollipopping a plant.

You're now in the second week of the flowering stage, which is a perfect time to start defoliating. Keep up this routine until the fourth week, taking it slow and easy each day. However, remember that it's not advisable to defoliate after the fourth week, let your plant grow without any further touching at that point
