First pistils came through this week! Switched the 'bloom' switch on the light to double LED count and add the red to the spectrum.
Defoliated lower growth again on day 45 before noticing the pistil 48 hours later.
Spotted a nutrient burn, and that I haven't been watering until enough runoff so possible nute/salt buildup?
I also realised the plant was drooping before feeding so going to increase feed volume to keep the coco more moist.
A nice amount of main colas considering her rough childhood.
Fed no nutrients from day 47-49, just feeding 5.8pH water to reduce salt content. Water was 60PPM at 5.8pH and after 8L still got 500PPM runoff. Definitely need to change feeding method. Thanks for the tips to those who answered!

My Super OG Kush auto hasn't shown signs of flowering at 7 weeks even though the 'harvest time' stated 7-9 weeks. I know this figure should be taken with a pinch of salt but is this abnormal?

Hey,
According to the breeder pyramid seeds, these genetics will require 10-11 weeks to flower. Looking at your plant, itβs about 7 weeks in on the diary, but Iβd say you probably have another 6 weeks of flower ahead of you. Keep in mind some breeders may state their genetics will be done flower a week or so earlier than they typically would, just to sort of help promote their product.
Hope this helps, but not to worry. The plant looks healthy and you should see bud production in the coming weeks.

Should it be at the first sign of pistils or is there a better time to do so?
I have already flipped the switch for this plant and kept photo-period the same, looking for info for next grow.

What's the 'best' method for runoff?
I've noticed my plant has a nutrient burn and realised I've not been watering until runoff enough which I think might have caused a build-up. Either that or the plant is perspiring more than necessary causing excess uptake.

Heya lxnay,
I see you are using coco so I would flush with a low ppm water w/calmag at correct pH. I would water twice the amount as usual then test the run off water and see if it is the same as what you are putting in. If it isn't, keep watering until it is and then continue watering as normal.
I would also recommend some perlite next grow, it allows more more aeration and drainage. I find it really helps with root growth on the plants. Most people I know do a 60/40 mix of coco/perlite. I personally love the opposite with 60/40 perlite/coco.

Hey!
You need to do a full inspection. Anything that was close to that mold needs to be binned. Better safe than sorry. Than stuff can be really toxic.
When drying you need fresh air flow, 21C and 50% RH to prevent mold. Add a dehumidifier in the room if you need to and fans facing the walls so if there isnβt any airflow. Not directly facing the buds.

Day 5 of dry and nugs are starting to crunch though stems dont crack yet.
I've lost the dank, unless touched, and it smells of what i'm guessing is clorophyll
How long does this last for or have I done something wrong?

it goes away... as long as it doesn't dry in 72 hours or less, the hay or green taste should go away. Each seed can be a bit different. 14-21 days of curing after it is done drying? maybe 28 + drying time?
Humidity is great for avoiding microbes, and temp isn't too high. You are fine.

I have a pyramid that takes forever tooβ- not sure if itβs because it was a mix up (seed supreme takes seeds out of dealer pack) it if itβs just taking weeks over stated times.. good luck! She looks great! But still three more weeks
