Broken branch!

Dumbledoor
Dumbledoorstarted grow question 6 months ago
I accidentally broke a branch of my plant while inspecting it. It was not completely broken and could hold on to the trunk on its own, so I simply pressed the branch back and fixated it with tape. 3rd week of flowering. How can I help the plant? Will this incident affect buds?

You're doing everything right with adhesive tape. Leave it on longer, the plant will recover well and needs time. In my experience, the additional stress this causes even encourages flowering. However, this may also depend on the time at which it happens. Be patient my friend, it will be fine. Good luck!

It seems by attaching the tape you've already helped the plant, It will need time to recover and no it should not affect the bud sites.

Strap it. If you hold the two parts together, the branch should heal in one or two weeks.

It might make it, or not the branch. A breathable tape is best so no rot or mold forms on the injury. Best you can do is close it up as tight as possible, and wait.
