Weird new leaf growth

SmokinToney9

Not sure what my issue is but some of the new growth has been a little abnormal. Any ideas on what this could be causing the stress/leaves to come out curly or just weirdly shaped? I tested the light Lux’s and I’m sitting around 19k. Any ideas on what the issue?

Stress from growing at 22/2.............go to 18/6 and your plant will be MUCH happier and healthier!

Hello my friend, try to lower the temperature! I would also change the lught schedule to 18/6 and turn the lamp off during the hottest time of the day (off between 11:00 and 17:00). And also put a fan inside the tent that blows in between lamp and plant!

As others have said before me, leaf margins that curl up indicate that your plant seems to have a bit of a temperature problem. And if the young leaves are crumpled, it means that despite this temperature problem, the growing conditions are good and they're growing fast (et paf ça fait des chocapics). Fix the temperature problem and everything should be back to normal. ^^

Confirm you have good airflow over the plant and lower the temps a bit. Your diary does not say what day time temps are just night. Guessing this is from excess heat and lack of airflow. Good Luck!

the tacoing along with contortion makes me think light or heat related. boron deficiency can cause contortion of new growth, but trace element issues are rare.. and more often related to ph issues or nutrient lockout from something else being too high in concentration. Boron-def would also show some burning on new leaves, which doesn't seem to be the case here. Looks like some DIY refleective walls? they may be too shiny and not diffusing the light enough? or possibly a smaller factor in what you see, if light-related. You dont want a "shiny wall.. it creates potential hot-spots. measure heat at top of plant under light... it may be a bit hotter than elsewhere in tent.
