Short bushy plants

Foggedabouditstarted grow question a year ago
Got these short bushy plants filling the whole 1 square meter space. Usually I yield about a pound of dry flower out of that space with the same setup but taller plants. These only range from 1ft to 2ft tall at day 17 bloom. Can yield be less because they are short? Thanks!

As long as you have filled the tent like you have you should still be able to hit a pound. In fact it means less popcorn nugs underneath. The light will penetrate the canopy better.

The most important factor here is genetics, without a doubt. However, defoliation could give an equal amount of light to all bud areas, resulting in a heavier yield. As said, other training methods such as LST could also work. But you're already 2 weeks into bloom. So I'd say be careful and aim for quality rather than quantity. A gentle defoliation is always good tho :)

Not necessarily, depends on the genetics… You'll see. ^^
