I've seen that study Angus, I've watched the entire thing. I Really don't care what a lab machine says. Yes it supports the notion that flushing is of no benefit, yet why have i seen literally 100's, shit, maybe even thousands of people smoke weed that was flushed and weed that wasn't flushed and weed grown in soil organically, and over the course of my life...and i was once a big player in the weed biz where i grew up, everyone selected in this order EVERY time,
#1 Best burn, taste, with clean ash = Organic Soil grown
#2 Flushed Chemical Nute hydroponically grown smoke
#3 Nonflushed chemical fertilized Hydroponic
Look, a machine that spits out numbers isn't smoking and taste and watching it burn. Dope smokers i trust 1000% over a lab machine. As i've said, in 30+ years, i've never ever had anyone tell me they loved non flushed weed, i'm not kidding, never.
And i know they had the smoke tested by smokers and they claimed they couldn't tell the difference. But i question their smoking experience and time they've been smoking and their age. If you get a buncha goobers in to smoke weed, wtf do they know. Ask guys like Ed Rosenthal to participate in that, or Jorge Cervantes, and see what they have to say about the disgusting experience of non flushed weed.
This is beating a dead horse honestly. I didn't post this to open the flush debate again, you opened that can of worms again, not me. I posted it because i thought it would be a helpful resource for newer growers to get a little deeper into the knowledge of what they are doing. And it's clear from the onslaught of verbal attacks against me that you have labelled me as a quack and a no nothing dummy. That's fine. Your opinions mean nothing to me.
If you are so certain that the science nis correct and you want to take science and lab tests as the gospel over your own taste buds and experience, and your ability to make your own smoking experience judgement, then ok, fair enough. I will take my experience as a distributor grower and smoker with over 30+ of practical experience. And that's all i got to say about it.
