My Timer malfuntioned and gave them over 22 hrs of light?I was wondering why they kept growing this fast and big until i controlled the system and noticed they get to much light and stretching this hard. So i turned the hrs down to 16 to stress them into blooming, will this Work?

No. I bet the leafs do droop after lights out. Autos can be very tricky DLI wise. They do need a rest. As too much light slows growth. To induce flowering adding far red will help.

Auto dont care about light duration, she will mature enough ( or stressed ) she flowers. She will always flower, so longer veg is good sign, plus good harvest upfront. BUT autos goes hermie too, playing with day duration in my opinion is heavy red zone. Choose one and stay. 18/6 is optimal for autos. If to be honest i write 18/6 but by timer its always 17.5/6.5 at mines or so . I want for them to have those minimal 6 hours of rest 4sure. So i added a bit. Happy Growing !!!

If they haven't bloomed yet they're may be an issue in the genetics if those are autos...try the 16 hours for a week and if that doesn't cause them to transition then definitely go 12/12

They will be fine, revert it back to your normal lighting schedule no harm done, I agree with Organoman autos don't really care about light like photoperiods do in flower. I would not give anything 24/0 light schedule though, all living things need rest and sleep. plants are still active in the dark just doing different processes then when in the light. Much like us humans we sleep but that sleep does things. Max I go is 18on / 6off regarding timers I find the clicking on them manual ones very annoying. I upgraded to a digital one with internal battery encase of power failure its brilliant. The battery just tracks/holds time and programming does not power the lights. but you can get a UPS battery pack for the lights if you really want. Good Luck!

No, autos flower at a certain age, nothing to do with how many hours of light.

Hi buddy, You are spot on I could not of given better advice myself. I must congratulate you growing an auto to that calibre is very impressive :) an auto can take 24 hours of light and still keep producing there is not flipping with autos they do that themselves if i were you i would continue giving them 22 hours if you are seeing better growth keep going :) Best of luck buddy your smashing it must be a very skilled grower to train an auto like that well done :)
