I'm running a experiment right now with my diaries in regards to temperature, and nutrients.
The temperature experiment is coupled with the nutrient experiment. I'll explain,
I saw somewhere that there were 2 factors that reduced the stretch to near zero, if not completely void of stretch when flower is induced.
1, Feeding Week 1 of Bloom formula in the final week of veg. (done)
2, Not allowing more than a 5 degree temperature variance between day and night cycles. (in progress)
I am currently in week 2 of flower, and only half way through week 2 and i already see what is normally seen at the end of week 3 on my plants. The stretch remains to be seen. I have 2 plants in there that i am very familiar with, and have grown for a few years now (Lemon Kush) and 2 strains that are my first time trying (Oreoz and Biscotti Mintz)
So it's ongoing as of this post, and if you like you can see whats going on in those diaries and follow along, or not. It's up to you. So far i think i am seeing a reduction in stretch, but plants will stretch right up till the end of week 4 so there's still a few weeks to go before i proper determination can be made.
