Temperature fluctuations

Ross4Twentystarted grow question 10 months ago
I’ve already asked this question but didn’t provide enough info to get an accurate answer. So here goes again… my temperature at night fluctuates at 18-20c. My daytime temperature fluctuates between 23-26c. This happens every 60 minutes gradually. Will this be an issue?

Really, making plants stretch with temps. Its in the 10-20 day pre flower stage. If you can keep temps within 7c you shouldn't get Stretching caused by temp swings What you can do. Is so when its coldest at night. That's when you run your lights. When it's the hottest. That's when your lights are off. This should bring a tighter control over your TEMP Also highering and lowering your fan. Up high in lights on, lower it down in cold time. Time management plays a big role in tent growing. Good luck

I'm running a experiment right now with my diaries in regards to temperature, and nutrients. The temperature experiment is coupled with the nutrient experiment. I'll explain, I saw somewhere that there were 2 factors that reduced the stretch to near zero, if not completely void of stretch when flower is induced. 1, Feeding Week 1 of Bloom formula in the final week of veg. (done) 2, Not allowing more than a 5 degree temperature variance between day and night cycles. (in progress) I am currently in week 2 of flower, and only half way through week 2 and i already see what is normally seen at the end of week 3 on my plants. The stretch remains to be seen. I have 2 plants in there that i am very familiar with, and have grown for a few years now (Lemon Kush) and 2 strains that are my first time trying (Oreoz and Biscotti Mintz) So it's ongoing as of this post, and if you like you can see whats going on in those diaries and follow along, or not. It's up to you. So far i think i am seeing a reduction in stretch, but plants will stretch right up till the end of week 4 so there's still a few weeks to go before i proper determination can be made.

Not necessarily no, but you also need to keep track of your rH and your leaf temperature is more important than your room temperature to get accurate VPD readings. I'd recommend you do a little research on VPD and what is should be at for the different stages of cannabis growth.

no, I would guess this is from fans turning on and off and moving air aorund that the temp probe then detects. Good Luck!

No, better in flower dont cross 25, but generally 7 degrees swing is ok limit, plants wont show any symptoms or unhappiness
