Look, it really is down to 2 things for me.
Is this a strain I know & more importantly like.
Will 1 r 2 strains tickle your taste buds. As a crop can take 4-7 months if you wanna grow 2 huge ones. I will say with DWC. plants need much larger areas. At least 60cm2.
I've 22 plants in a 1m2 tent. I'm still strain hunting. Yes, I'm growing 2 r 3 strains I've done before. But, I'm doing them big. So I've put in 11 autos 11 females. 6 autos are in flowering another 1.5 months or so. And that space will be free. Then my 1 wk old fems will be flipped once I get my autos done.
I do run my light at 70%, and keep the most developed ones and ones in pre fower under it. And my fems they take the sides. I've only a 300watt atm in my 1m2 tent. Also. I've a 70cm2 tent I keep as a dark tent. And 3 of my autos now only like 16hrs of light or they droop really bad. So its all about your end goals.
Mine is taste and test as many as I can. When I find strains I like from my last crop. I've got 3 in my tent now. Yes, a few of my autos got stressed..as I started out with my 70cm2 and left them for 2.5 weeks. And sadly 3 flipped due to stress. My other autos I started in their and will finish in these pots are still in veg. So. My advice.
Plan for 4-6 with the hopes of bringing 4 to harvest. You should always have backups especially if you're a new grower.
More eggs and all that.
Feel free to mes me about dealing with space and how to get the full benefits.
Throw a few autos in. And, hey if you haven't the space. Send 1 to the gelatine
