I have a 80x80 tent. Just wondering how long to veg for to make sure I’m filling the trellis? I plan to have two in there & 14l pots..

I think it would take pretty long to fill it out with just two plants, i also wouldn't count on the stretch, sure it can be a lot but maybe not and then you got an half empty tent. Check my diary if you want to i also grow in 80x80, but i got 4 plants. Still i had a "longer" veg time of almost 8 weeks. I wouldn't go above 4 Plants in 80x80, maybe 3 but that it. But that is your decision, you can still get a nice result.

They look small. Its not really amount of veg time As there is no set time. As depending on how its grown, and not to mention pheno differences there no set time So, depending on its genes you should be looking to see 70% of the net (jst before the flip) filled the net out. So when you look down you should see your nodes worked (lst'ed) and weaved in and around the nets. As you flip the 7 days r so before you see pistils this is the key stage in where u must train the plant so its shoots sit just underneath the net or no higher than 5-7cm above the net should be the node in this time frame as any node that is growing to high can be slowed down in this time by pulling leafs on that nodes that's grown to high. Or you can pull it down.. I've a sour Strawberry scrog diary were I explain in depth. I've yet to finish it. Although its well gone and all, been my 1st scrog I think it'll be a good sign to you I show you.. as I used 2 seeds (both in the same pot) most ppl will say when doing a scrog with 2 plants and 1 screen they really should be clones as its harder as both will give different traits.. like 1 might stretch 10 more during the start of 12-12 id one grow more and I made it work. Yes, I got 2 completely different phenos but I'm glad I used 2 seeds as opposed to clones as I got to taste 2 different phenos If you've any Q please feel free to mes me.

When i scrog, i fill in 3/4 of the trellis. Then i flip, and continue to tuck till the canopy is full (first week of 12/12) then i allow them to stretch up so i get all tops

The aim of the game is gentics. Picking a right mix gene wise like 60/40 sativa / indica or hybrids are great for scrog, you need to fill about 75-85 % of your net before you flip.. so top and train her out. When you feel you've enough branches near the net (with shoots). Flip and lollipop in between the pre stretch before prw flower. You want all your nodes in place before pre flower..

Hi buddy Ive done scrogs in the past an i just kept going until the space was filled keep in mind that some strains can double in size when switched to flower so dont go too long in a small space as big plants give off alot of humidity :) best of luck buddy looks like your doing a great job keep up the good work :) need any other questions just hit up my dm :) my sugar bomb punch grow is scrogged take a look if you like :)

Don't go by a measure of time, go by percentage of canopy filled. Different strains grow at different rates by different methods by different growers. For strains described as "small" or "indica dominant", I'd strive for about 70% of your canopy filled before flip. If described as "tall" or "stretchy" or "sativa dominant" then fill about half your canopy space before the flip.
