In soil, since it holds onto nutrients more than hydro medias, you don't have to feed every watering.Giving it some time before feeding again to let it absorb any possible nutrient excess in soil.But nevermind,I feed every watering in soil.You dont need to stop feeding unless you have nutrient excess.
Hydro medias ; feed each watering.They are known to make roots get the nutrients quicker and easier than soil.You feed once,plant eats it,then in no time it will want to be fed again because media can't hold onto nutes as good as soil.
