It's normal for the new shoots on top to be light green. But if the big bottom leaves seem to turn yellow like the one you are holding, this is not normal before flowering. It looks like a nitrogen deficiency. If you are not yet in the final pot, repot with rich potting soil. Otherwise use fertilizer each time you water, adding a high dose of nitrogen.
