Mix one part 3% hydrogen peroxide with four parts of water. Allow the top layer of your soil to dry, and then water your plants with this solution as you normally would. The soil will fizz for a few minutes after application; this is normal. Contact with hydrogen peroxide will kill fungus gnat larvae on contact. After a few minutes, the fizzing stops and the peroxide breaks down into harmless oxygen and water molecules. Repeat as needed. As far as the cinnamon tea spray enough to create a visible across the top of your potting media, and repeat every few weeks if needed. Good Luck with the rest of your grow and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".

I use this stuff called Mosquito Bits in conjunction with sticky traps. The bits will kill off the larvae in the soil while the traps catch the adults. You can spray an organic pesticide or insecticidal soap to kill the adult faster too. It will take a week or so but they won't be back.

dude, don't bother with any of that shit... i tried all sorts of things when i had the fungus gnats, and spent a bunchhh of money- i tried peroxide, a bottle of stuff that was supposed to kill them, nematodes, all sorts of stuff.. nothing i did worked other than what is probably the cheapest solution. buy a bag of sand (the sandbox kind, it's finer stuff. they have stuff that looks like pebbles, but go with the fine stuff). Put like a .5" to 1" layer down on top of the soil. You can always add more.. The gnats really can't crawl through it because it's like little shards of glass, so they end up dying eventually. It has nothing to do with the sand drying things up although that probably helps. So use the sand, and continue to use sticky traps. You can use bowls of vinegar and dish soap to also kill them. Keep a fan circulating air lightly in the room. They are terrible at flying. You are probably giving your plants too much water also, so in the future let your soil dry out for a few days before you water it again, and try using less water. the sand and air circulation is what helps the best by far though. if you think you are going to under water the plant, the leaves can help you know if it needs water or to lay off the water. the leaves start to cup/ curl either up or down depending on too much or too little water. i forget which is which. easy google search will tell you that one... lemme know how it goes if you decide to use the sand.

Try putting these yellow stripe over the soil, or in a stick on the soil. they will come from the earth and get stucked in that!

Your pots are 100% to big..and then by rights you are 100% over watering..which in turn is giving you the bug problem..so you have a domino effect of problems going on..start plants in smaller pots then transplant..good rule of the thumb the plant should be relatively the same size width wise as the pot its going into..also ph doesnt mean squat in soil (only dwc) trust me the plant will adjust to what it wants..check out (the grow boss) on youtube he will change your whole perspective if you can handle the cocky criticism!...hope this helps 🤙

hey,Fungus gnats will only eat your roots if they got really alot, and you will need alot of time for that, i had a problem with gnats, i added 2 ml of neem oil in 1 liter warm water with soap , and shaked it really well and water my plant with it , alot of them dies, and alot of thier babys came with the run off water :D but be careful becuase neem oil is not Roots best friend too,so the plant gonna suffer little bit from that, after alot of research i found the best thing what works is getting a dry surface for at least 3 weeks (gnats life cycle) that how all the new gnats will have no place to lay thier eggs and die or move away , you can try putting Sand or getting your soil dry quickly or anything what keep them away from moist soil :D i fuckin hate those gnats
