Leaf colour and buds

Beccabud
Beccabudstarted grow question 2 years ago
Are the leaves still too dark and should I be flushing more? Just worried I've ruined the growth with the overfeeding of nutes now 😓. It seems small but I guess there's still few more weeks to go? Also for nest time am I supposed to remove the lower smaller buds? Thanks 🌈

yeah as we all know leaves dont change color. they dont yellow when starved or near the end lol chlorophyll is destroyed during photosynthesis and replenished by the plant as fast as its being destroyed. in abundance of nutrients the speed of replenishment increases but so does the free ions inside the cells which also damages these cells. chlorophyll is synthesized from nitrogen and magnesium by the plants. so in absence of these molecules replenishment speed decreases and plant gets lighter in color.

oh i should have said “in reduced availability” instead of “in absence of these molecules” at the end there haha because in absence of these molecules chlorophyll production stops. duh!

Well, them leafs won't change color, they'll stay that shade of green so. It looks healthy. Idk how much you fed her. So maybe a few days without core NPK nutrients. Just cut back on anything with N in it and cut your overall feed. But don't stop feeding for too long. You'll be surprised at how quick your feed will go as I'm assuming you flushed or you have already cut your plant cause you taking about it been better.. So I wouldn't be stopping given it a micro Nutrientd you'll be surprised at how fast they will show up. She is green, but she's in natural day light. Unless you bend a leaf and it snaps of and breaks up or clawing you really aren't that bad. She looks really healthy, You don't even have tip burn. She's green ye. But, I don't c any issues you in pic. Good luck.

yes it is dark but i think plain water can solve the issue. give it just water without any nutes and it looks kinda better than the last week. you can probably skip feeding it anything for 3 weeks probably. it looks really well fed.
