Contrary to common belief, having a higher number of mycorrhizae species in a product does not translate to better results; in fact, it often yields the opposite outcome. A plant can sustain only one association with a particular mycorrhizal fungi species. Introducing multiple species creates competition among them, which is not advantageous for the plant. The initial colonizer does not ensure the highest success; instead, it gains precedence. It is recommended to select a product with a concentrated presence of a single mycorrhizae species known for its effective performance, rather than opting for a product with multiple species at lower concentrations. The propagule count specified on most mycorrhizae products indicates the presence of spores (viable and unviable), hyphae, and root fragments. However, it is crucial to note that only viable spores, those with the capacity to germinate, can successfully colonize a plant’s root system. Spores are to mycorrhizal fungi what seeds are to cannabis plants—a fundamental component enabling fungi reproduction. Consequently, even if a mycorrhizal product boasts millions of propagules, its effectiveness hinges on the presence of viable spores. Without viable spores, the product will not contribute to plant development. Therefore, the genuine value of a mycorrhizal inoculant lies in the number of viable spores it contains, as only viable spores can efficiently initiate symbiosis. I like to use Dynomyco.

2nd great white, but its pricey and hard to source in Canada, I've used voodoo juice and had nice results but its cost point for what it is, is not worth it to me. Also used a product from MIIM called microbial mass with good results and its less pricey then others, not great in DWC style systems only soil/medium based. Mykes is a brand that is sold aorund me, its ok, its like Dynomyco, but less money. I've never noticed a massive difference between using and not using Dynomyco or mykes, was even in a dynomyco contests where you compare the two root balls at transplants, one with and one without the product. The same contest where someone won for not showing any root balls or transplants and that was the whole point of it. Broken system but outside of that, the products meh. better then nothing but only really effective in soil and high levels of fertilizer in the soil can stunt it or make it ineffective. I have noticed a difference in roots "colour, size, amount of" when using voodoo juice or Microbial Mass, . Both are liquids you add into the water and soak in. Same thing could happen with aerated compost tea I bet, just farming good bacteria to outpace the bad ones in the medium. I've also used LAB's with good results as well. Made a diary on how to make you own LAB's :D w/e you pick, confirm its spore count per gram, make shure its worth it, and ensure its not to pricy vs other options for less of the same thing.

That really is a question of price. The better ones will cost If these are in ur grasp. Recharge has US/CA And there's many more Dymno or something (that's not their name) m Me I just use good enzymes, and root stims. Pretty much all living bacteria you find in modern day liquid nutrients Plagron Pure zym XPERT nutrients: enzymes There's loads. Money, area and willingness to shop & dyor to what you're aiming for in a grow.. Like Do you even know why you or what it does? Its a fungi. Can be easily added with any enzymes nowadays and a few days and dead matter will be broken down and roots will hv better uptake.
