please help on a auto grow

my thought process is that its my understanding that LED will give you a different trichome then the sun... LED will also give you a tighter nug... (no clue if I am right but thats what I have read?). another reason for this idea was when you read in seed catalogs they will always show that a auto will get lower yields outside over inside idk why but they say that so I was like why not just give it tons of light outside.. run my led at night and the sun during the day, I assume I would need to overlap lights so the plant does not get shocked ?? I live in a northern climate so my grow season is very short and now that I can legally grow I was thinking of moving my indoor grow outdoor in the greenhouse, maybe heat it in winter and grow "outdoors" all year long.. in winter the little sun I would get should help somewhat but I would always have my lights as a backup...

Depends where you are but autos should be fine for outdoor grows as long as you plant them in the hottest Post of the year because they have a shorter life cycle anyway!

Hey, So that can be a good way of growing an auto, especially if your sunlight hours are low or its colder outside. But if you're having good outdoor temps and you can give the plant at least 5+ hours of direct sunlight then you may not need supplemental at all. Several hours of direct sunlight will out perform supplemental lighting anyday in my opinion. Good luck and happy growing ✌️

i'm doing it. Fantastic but... My problem is that you need have to control well when come back to greenhouse, becouse if see the sunset will stressed when see the ligth bulb again

I dont see a problem with supplement lighting to get the few hours needed in the evening. Put it on a photo sensor and it will kick on as the sun goes down.then turn off when it comes up.good luck and I take all free samples
