Chop or wait

Hi people I planted these auto candy crystal on the 7th of March an they spouted on the 9th. There looking well to me tho do I wait for all hairs to turn amber before a chop and hang or can I do it now?

I think that would be wise, with no leaves its not going to be doing much of anything. Just chop and dry and get it over with. Next time don't strip it down to nothing. Good Luck!

Without trichomes to go by, I'd say give it another week or two. Though the photos aren't the best, I'm still seeing a fair amount of white pistils poking out and 60 days is a pretty optimistic timetable.

Do you have a jewelers loup, microscope, or something else to magnify the plant to see the trichomes? I like to harvest when trichomes are mostly cloudy with some amber. Clear - more heady high Amber - more sedative high Cloudy - mix of both

Harvest really comes down to the development of the Trichomes. The general consensus is that the Trichomes should be roughly 20% amber and the rest cloudy. This is really a personal call on that percentage because the more amber you let them get the more couch-lock the high is. I use a jewelers loop to check them. It’s not entirely based of the hairs alone although the more orange/brown the hairs are the more likely you are approaching a ready to harvest plant. I hope this helps.
