@Paulinator there is no perfect way I know of to totally prevent it. But In my situation I grow under a green house and have a Large Fan blowing 24hrs/day all over the plants and yet I still have found some mold in the stickiest strain today. 😒 When you have consecutive days of damp weather and high humidity rot will sometimes set in quite quickly. Things you can try like picking a variety that is mold resistant can help as can light manipulation where you basiccally force your plants to flower earlier than usual by limiting the amount of light they get each day to under 12hrs this way you may get a harvest completed before the worst weather arrives? Good luck Mate

Hey @Paulinator! The best way is using Neem Oil. You can check it on any grow, it will not affect the flavour of your buds if you apply them over the leaves carefully. You can also start applying it over the growing stage to give additional protection to your plant. Amazing purple you got over there! I love purple/red coloured phenos.

If you grow outdoors, you start with choosing the right genetics for your area. Iam living in northern europe and iam always looking for fast flowering// express strains, Who start early or have short flowering period. Then i look for mold resistant strains too. but in 3 of 5 years i have to harvest earlier to prevent my weed from Mold. This year i biult a transpartent roof above my plant... that saved my grow. But i think choosing mold resistant short// early flowering strains are the base of that.

Clear Tarps and space heaters, make a temporary green house of course be extremely careful and cautious. Drainage and airflow needed to be accounted for.. Keep it mind a 4 foot plant would need plenty of space around it, you don't wanna "cover" the plant just protect it. I guess it would depend on the size of the crop and the materials you have on hand whether or not it would be worth it. But that's what Iv'e seen others do and that's what I would do if I really wanted the plant to make it all the way. If I had an indoor crop on the go and wasn't horribly invested in it, I'd probably just take more of a wait and see approach. I hope this helps and Hopefully you get her sorted out.

Unfortunately there is no simple solution for this one. If you aren't able to move them indoors then you can build something to cover them and try putting a fan near them but when it rains and the humidity is 100% your plants are always going to be at risk of powdery mildew and bud rot. The only real solution in the future is going with strains that do well in that environment. The only strains I have been able to successfully grow outdoor without a green house are heavy sativa Mexican strains. They are bulletproof and they can stand up to rain and high humidity. You can research some strains that are mildew resistant and will handle your specific environment better. Good luck

Keep your plant in an area with high wind circulation and where the sun hits it the most, if the rain gets too heavy, you can try something as simple as a umbrella or something similar to prevent as much rain hitting it. Pretty plant by the way😘
