Looks great. I would try and peg the top more down. I can't see where your tie is attached but if you can get the angle lower it will allow the top to grow out straighter. You need to move the tie as the plant grows out otherwise you end up with a wobble..😂.

Yes, you're doing it right although maybe a bit early. It will be waiter in a week or so when there's faster growth. Raising the light will induce stretch and make it easier to train the smaller shoots down.
