I would like to know if the little dots on the leaves are anything to worry about, and which techniques you would recommend for newbies?

It's nothing to worry to much about, i've had seedlings with similiar little dots that made it just fine. You Can spray you're plant and soil with some water to keep humidity over 50 In the seedling stage. As for the training i would recomend trying techniques like topping-fiming and lst. It's really all a learning process/experience, and we all learn from our mistakes! Good luck on your first grow you're looking good for week 1. :))

She’s transpiring too much (loosing water) Need to spray her and the top of the soil with a mister to add some humidity and moisture to the soil. Higher humidity is needed during seedling stage. Good luck

It looks like it might be a little on the moist side. If you do not have good air flow, powder mildew can set in. It looks like a little white / grey shadow on the right side,... Take a second look. If it is mildew, catch it quick!

Its difficult to say anything to your plant. My advices to you. dont save at the soil. buy a soil premix (biobizz, plagron)

I dont know which soil u use, for me its look like any humus soil.your plant has special need and needs a good PH. And here we are back on advise '#1 if u use a premixed light fertilised soil you dont have any problems for the first 4 weeks, or lets say you dont have to care for feeding and PH
Buy an ph meter
buy thermometer/hygrometer
read diaries these are very helpful.
Dont feed to much
dont water to much
keep distance of the growing light

ok thats it, happy growing

Do you really don't konw from where your seeds come ? Many advice can be given, but without knowing what kind of weed you're growing it's hard to decide wich advice to give you !
