Hey guys! So I got these beautiful fastbuds autos and one of them started flowering pretty quick and now the buds are really pretty and a lot of the hairs are orange I know it's still got plenty time but what would be a rough estimate of how much longer she might have weeks wise?

The hairs on the buds are a bad indicator for ripeness. What matters more is the colour of the trichomes on the buds and sugarleafs. These trichomes start out being clear and make two transitions in the flowering cycle, from clear to cloudy and finally to an amber colour. Clear and cloudy trichomes is where the plant is producing THC as a defensive mechanism against predators. Amber trichomes apear, when the internal THC degrades to CBD, so you can mix and match the effect you want with the general state of the trichomes. There is no right anwser, which state of trichomes is the best. I think most people wait until almost all of the trichomes are cloudy with a few sprinkles of amber. It's best to get a small microscope to observe the trichomes. Happy growing, your plants look nice

Looking good. You’re a good bit away from chopping her down. She will start to tell you when she’s getting close for harvest. Her larger leaves will start to yellow as she drains the plant from nutrients. You’re kind of right about the hairs but what you’re looking for is when they start to curl back towards the buds. When about sixty percent have curled back she should be about ready. The one and only true way is to check the trichomes. Get yourself a jewels loupe 40x or greater and learn how to check them for ripeness. It’s pretty easy and not rocket science. So when magnified the frost on the buds resemble little mushrooms, it is the tops of those little mushrooms that contain the good stuff THC. Basically there are three different appearances to the trichomes clear, cloudy and amber. So clear ,not ready, cloudy and full, the head’s will swell up and get heavy and might even make the trichomes bend over, almost there. The reason we’re still waiting for the ambers is we want to chop her too soon. There’s probably still some clears that will turn cloudy and some cloudy’s that haven’t finished swelling with THC. So waiting on 10-30 percent ambers insures she has reached her full potential Sorry I rambled on but Stoned I am.

long pistils... long time. tons of ripening left, so don't start dwelling on how many days left. just let it happen and react. don't put pesonal preference or cumpulsions into the equation. bud density pistil coloration trichomes use all three visible traits to determin an appropriate time to harvest. right now the calyxes aren't even plump if the stigmata (hairs) are looking so long -- will be an illusion that tehy shorten or shrink, but it's just the calyx plumping around it. they do die and coil up, too, of course.
