Is Co2 enhancer worth it

HylianGrass

Hey have any of you guys used the co2 enhancer thing they sell online or at some gardening store. I know for sure it can do a difference in veg phase but growing hydroponically and growing auto already gives me fast and strong vegetative grow so should i even bother?

Really just depends on where your growing. A smaller grow space would probably be a lot better of that canister thing. Co2 really helps if your have lots of green and not a lot of space. I'd recommend growing a few plants first then trying to increase your output with Co2. Co2 should be monitored before even being worried about it, not much sense in adding extra co2 if you already have enough co2 in your house. And the plants definitely can see a benefit from it growing in ideal conditions with a powerful light. And it's more important in later stages then it is in early veg. You wanna have more co2 going in as the plants get bigger and breathe more. You'll get better yields from proper nutrients and plant care then you will with the extra Co2. Anyway I hope this helps and happy growing.

As others have indicated, you will see no benefit unless your grow area is completely sealed off without ventilation. Otherwise, the CO2 will get sucked right up through your exhaust fan and will be of zero benefit. I used to use the Exhale bags, 2 per tent - thinking they were helping and after more research and not using them, I realized my exhaust was just sucking the CO2 right out of the tent.

@HylianGrass To be perfectly honest I don't think it's worth doing for your average 1-3 plant grow but if you were to have a larger setup and were looking at perpetual growing then Yes It could be worth investing in CO2 enhancement Just my thoughts on it Others may disagree Good luck with your Fastberry 👍

I have asked myself and researched this same question a lot. Here is the conclusion I came to.... If you have every aspect of your grow room maxed out such as lighting, temps, your system, room 100% sealed then co2 can benefit your plants. You would have to dial in things such as timing your exhaust on and off so you can actually get your ppm up and the plants can benefit. I getting amazing growth and high quality buds without it, so I decided to pass on the co2 because I like simple and that just adds another thing to maintain. Good luck with your grow!
