theGreek
started grow question 5y ago
Is it safe to lower the water PH with freshly squeezed lemon juice? Tap water is at 7.5, I am thinking of adding lemon juice to bring it down to 6. 5.

introducing Real Growers' recharge in my feeding plan
I am thinking about replacing my current enzym/booster, Biobizz bio-heaven with Real growers' recharge Is it a good idea to keep my current feeding plan, replacing bio heaven with it? Would that be "an upgrade" ? Thanks

How dark is too dark?
Are these looking too green? I’m not seeing any N-tox clawing but they are pretty dark, growth is pretty vigorous and steady though so I don’t know. They are in a pretty rich organic medium.

Composted soil and pH
I read that using composted soil you don't need to stress about pH too much. My water tank gives water at 7.7. Run-off is fairly similar. Should i be trying to adjust this down a little before watering?

I’m out of BioHeaven
I’m out of Bio-Heaven and I wonder whether it’s worth getting some more, given that I’ll probably flush the plants within a few weeks and only use water then. Plus it’s quite expensive compared to BioGrow, BioBloom or TopMax… Any ideas or maybe an organic substitute? Thanks!

FloraCoco Grow instead of FloraGro in Hydroponics DWC
Is it OK to grow in DWC Hydroponics using FloraCoco Grow (4-0-5 with also 0,8% of Magnesium) as one of the nutrients, combined with FloraBloom and FloraMicro? I'm asking because the store near home had finished FloraGro (3-1-7) and sold me FloraCoco Grow.

PPMS?
What’s the simplest way to understand parts per million? 1 gallon of water, ph 6.86 ? I took multiple readings of the run off water from different spots of the tray and finally ended up pouring all the run off into a cup . The plant is about 90 days old. Week 7 of flower.

TDS
I’m on week 6 today. Is this a good TDS reading or should it be higher/lower? I have the unit set to 500 ppm . I used 5 ml/gallon of tiger bloom, 2 ml/gallon of bud candy & big bud. I also added 1 tbsp of epsom salt to lower the ph in my soil.

hello! I'm using a prefertilised substrate with NPK 12-14-24 (Plagron lightmix).Which nutrients should I consider to buy next? Plagron offers a NPK 3-1-3 or 4-2-4 for growing and a 2-2-4 or 3-2-5 for blooming. Beyond brands, what ratio should I look for, for what elements? Thanks

High ppm in drainage
I flushed coco two times with 8-10 litres with CalMag (200 ppm) and it does not help. You can see in my comments to the last weeks of the diary that it doesn't matter how much ppm I water the plant, it is always 2-3 times more ppm in drainage. What should I do?

Which NPK Ratio for autoflowers?
what npk ratio is good? if i only use the ph perfect micro, grow and bloom it will give a ratio of 4-3-8. if i add B52,Big Bud,Nirvana and overdrive i get a ratio of 7-10-20.. if i only add overdrive i get a ratio of 5-8-12 which seems better in my opinion then adding them all in.
