Hi guys! Decided to finish my diary (Pineapple Express), which I should have finished a little earlier. The question is as follows. I decided to flush with distilled water and citric acid. Is this ok or not a very good idea? Thanks!

Flushing is mostly a myth and distilled water is aggressive as fuck and could burn the roots. Almost any acid can be used as a PH down. citric is not outside of the realms of common acids used. I think GH PH down has a mix of citric and phosphoric. Flushing is just not needed, it does not do most of what people claim it does, like removing chemical taste from buds, it's just not how plants work.. It is however a useful tool to combat toxicity of the medium should you have accidentally overfed it to much. In short feed less and then just water as needed end of life vs dumping copious amount of water though the pot. Agree with others, distilled/RO is just wasted money and not needed. Good Luck!

Hey mate, I would simply use tapwater and add more citric. Its a moneywaste, if you have to buy that distilled water. There wont be a noticable change, when your human tastebuds cant taste something odd in your tapwater, your plants wont notice something either. Compared to nutrients we feed our plants its really nothing. Happy Growing!

No point, it won't do anything special. Just use tap water and save your money. Citric acid........why?...........it will most likely harm your plant, not help it in any way.

Hello Jaked, You can do this but it doesn't really matter. Tap water will be fine. Happy Harvest Buddy! 💚
