She is only in the 4th flowering week, why are they already so milky white?

those are on the leaves. they deteriorate much faster than trichomes on the calyxes. Also, don't bother looking at trichomes at this point. They age at all times. you can find amber 'somewhere' at 'some point' long before the plant is ready to harvest. Wait for the buds to look like bud then start monitoring the trichomes. Look before all you want as a learning experince, but not because you intend to harvest sooner. pistil coloration bud density trichomes use more than 1 physically observable characteristic to keep yourself honest. The trichomes are the best option, fwiw. Takenot of how much amber and milky trichome proportions at varying locals and vertical height within the canopy. This way you can compare the timing of your harvest and get the buzz you want. Just as nyquil can make one person sleepy and another person hyper, do a little testing of early to late harvests for yourself. can even just let 1-2 colas ripen longer (staggered) etc.. doesn't have to be the entire plant.
